Makro must have an answer for us!

Hello all supporters,

Besides A&W, there are still many companies that should treat animals better. Siam Makro is one company that has not yet announced that it will sell only cage-free eggs. Even though Makro has said that “Makro is committed to promoting animal welfare. We encourage farmers to raise cage-free eggs and sell cage-free eggs in all branches,” it might mean that they will still continue to sell battery cage eggs. In battery cages, hens can be locked up for up to 63 weeks in a space only the size of A4 paper, jostle with 2-3 of their friends, and can’t perform most of their natural behavior freely. This is why we want Siam Makro to sell only cage-free eggs 100%..
