Big news! Yesterday, in the House of Commons Henry Smith MP proposed Beatrice’s Bill, a new piece of legislation to ban the use of cages for hens. This is a momentous opportunity to end cages for egg-laying hens so we must act now to apply pressure on the Government to take action - all in the name of a brave and strong ex-battery hen, Beatrice.
Beatrice is safe and free from her cage. But, right now, there are 16 million caged hens in the UK suffering like she did.
