We support the Hereditary Chiefs Council’s 2019 motion to suspend the duties of William Gordon Glendale, the “Glendale Council” and the members of the Da’Naxda’Xw/Awaetlala  band office for allegations of their involvement in hundreds of thousands of dollars of misappropriated funds. 

We don’t agree that innocent members of the Da’Naxda’Xw/Awaetlala First Nation should be the ones responsible for the $413,597.88$ Of ISC funding spent under the Glendale supervision.

We want our voices to be heard, and we want to be protected from the repercussions of the actions of one family.  We are tired of being silenced, used and abused by those who are meant to support us. We are tired of being a corrupt nation.
