The Housing Action Group have now completed 11 separate 24 hour protests, either outside Leinster House or outside City Hall in Cork.

The groups has protested outside the Homeless Persons Unit at Drinan Street, demanding its closure, later they occupied this sub-standard facility in an effort to get commitments from Council and DSP officials. 

Recently also the group OCCUPIED the Council chamber at Cork City Hall.  All of this is to demand that Government setup a NATIONAL EMERGENCY COMMITTEE on Housing & Homelessness!
