State should respect homeless people!

On Thursday 21st June the Housing Action Group put a picket on the Homeless Persons Unit on Drinan Street, Cork. The Unit is utterly disrespectful of service users, there is no privacy, no family facilities, not even a toilet. The Group handed in an official letter of complaint to the centre management and called for the Unit to be closed down. People need services, respect and support, not abuse.
