Thank you to everyone who has signed this petition. I'm really optimistic that we will reach the goal of honouring Tom Crean and we have confirmation from the Defence Minister, that his name will be considered for the name of the planned new flagship. I wrote to the Minister's office recently and have been told that we will receive a status update from them - I will post that response here when I have it. Meantime I'm stepping up efforts to get this campaign better noticed and for everyone using social media to support the campaign please use one of the following two hashtags as they will direct others to this platform - #SignForTom or #TimeToHonourTom - thanks again and we are recently seeing a great increase in the numbers signing the petition. - Tim
