I'm awaiting an update from the Minister of Defence's office on the proposed new Multi-Role Vessel and I will post that response here when I have an answer. Meanwhile, I'd really like to increase the numbers so that we can maintain momentum and arrange another petition handover. It is all still to play for and increasing number of signatures will give us a louder voice to those making the decisions. I want to thank Kieran Donaghy, a Kerry footballing legend, for this great shout-out while wearing one of the new Tom Crean campaign T-Shirts with the #SignForTom hashtag that will point others to this petition. Please share this video and add your own shout-outs.

The hope is that the second petition handover will take place after we've reached 20,000 signatures. which I would like to reach by early 2020. A really fitting date for the second handover would be March 2020 as this marks the centenary commemoration of Tom Crean's retirement from the Navy in 1920.

For anyone interested in the Tom Crean Campaign T-shirts, they are a great way of spreading the word and are available in the white design Kieran is wearing here or in black and we have sizes from small to X-large available to purchase here

10% of the profits from the sale of #SignForTom t-shirts will be reinvested here on the petition to further help increase our numbers.

Thank you all for your great support.
