I am overwhelmed with the amount of support we’ve gotten since this petition has started. Thank you all so much for signing and sharing this post all over!!
I just wanted to update you all on some things. I’ve recently spoken with my manager and apparently CVS is sending out medical supplies to their employees soon including masks, wipes, and gloves. They’re also supposed to be providing my pharmacy (and maybe other pharmacies as well) with a table to meet the “6 feet away” regimen that everyone should be following. That’s something that I’ve seen in a couple of CVS pharmacies on Twitter (picture will be attached). They have even installed self checkout centers and adjusted our front store hours which used to be 24 hours.
I am so proud of the progress that’s been made but we still need more to be done. I was reading the comments and it has been brought to my attention that hazard pay does need to be given. I will add that to the petition.
But I’ll let you all know when our supplies have come in and continue to check social media, the news, and our emails for any upcoming changes.
