We had a limited victory in the court today.

Apparently the judge felt obliged to give some kind of order, because that's just how these things work, but the sight of the pile of rubbish provided by PC Young scared her off from examining the merits today, due to this only being a one hour hearing, annoyingly had this ridiculous bundle actually been examined, we think a very different outcome may have resulted.

What she did believe was that PC Young was *too dangerous* a person to give a power of arrest to under the circumstances, so all she actually did was grant a modified and much weaker form of the original oppressive draft orders, knowing that these would not actually cause us any inconvenience whatsoever.

Sadly she says there must be a full trial of the facts and sometime in January, after many thousands of pouns of legal fees, we will have to do this properly.

Hopefully, long before then PC Young will be out of the force and the appropriate arrests will have been made, and if either or both of these things happen, we think the whole matter will be decided in our favor with costs and damages.

Perhaps the saddest part about today is that we collectively squandered an hour of valuable court time, the judges time both could have been better used for protecting a vulnerable woman or a child from abuse, the sort of things these injunctions are meant to be used for.
