I would like to share a progress update.

On February 5, 2026, I received a written response from Cumulus Radio Station Group leadership confirming that the January 30 segment has been removed because it was “not consistent with station or company policy.”

The segment is no longer playable on the station’s primary digital platforms.

However, the episode title and thumbnail remain searchable in certain podcast archives and directories. When selected, the audio or video does not play and instead indicates it has been removed.

To my knowledge, there has not been a public on-air clarification or social media statement accompanying the removal.

As part of raising awareness, I also contacted a company whose advertisements aired on the station and shared my concerns. The company responded that they are reviewing how their promotional partnerships are represented.

This update is shared for transparency.

My goal remains awareness — encouraging thoughtful dialogue about how medical conditions are framed in public broadcasts and why tone matters.
