We are group of residents who live on Warwick road in Carlisle between the junction of Tesco and Eastern way, you may or may not know the county council are planning on adding another lane running west between these junctions. We are obviously against this for many different reasons, noise pollution ( as footpath will be taken away to bring the road closer to our homes) loss of tress along the road and the danger of getting in and out of our driveways to name a few! We are looking for more local support against these plans and would welcome any help anyone can give. The scheme would take over 4 months and cause even more traffic misery for what we think is no long term gain!
