Stage 2

To my fellow signatories, Thank you so much for your support and understanding of the motives underlying the anti-milo petition. As you know, the petition has gained news coverage, and as the event draws nearer people here in Boulder are organizing more and more to fight against his appearance and/or shut down the event. This is where I must, once again, as something of all of you who are able and willing. Don't worry, it's not money; this time, I need your time and attention. When Milo scheduled an appearance in Portland, Oregon, the local anti fascist groups were able to coordinate a large phone jam which successfully canceled the event only shortly after it (the phone jam) began (relevant article here: http://rosecityantifa.org/articles/keep-milo-out-of-portland/) We are going to adopt the same tactic on *Wednesday, January 18th, from 1pm to 4pm MST.* The success of the phone jam may depend on all of you. By virtue of this petition (which I never anticipated getting this big), I can contact all 1,844 (as of right now) of you to ask you to take part in the phone jam. If even just a few dozen of you agreed to do it and were able to, it would be a tremendous boon to the effort, since obviously we are going to have groups on the ground doing it here as well.
