This is an attack. This is violence. This is not "free speech," nor is it "an alternate perspective." The appropriation by Milo's supporters of the rhetoric of "free speech" to defend Milo's attacks on people needs to be fought; this is an issue of the *privilege of speaking at a university*, not free speech. The petition is getting attention, and I think in light of this incident, it is more important than ever to prevent Milo from coming to CU. Please share the petition, write to the Chancellor and office of the president whenever you can (pester them!), and if you can throw a few bucks at it to try and get more attention, please do so. I put some money toward it at the beginning, and it did wonders. If even a few people put in the lowest donation amount, it could easily get thousands of more signatures.
