On Tuesday May 14, 2019, the City Council of Chesapeake,VA unanimously voted to allocate $250,000 to pay for train-activated flashing lights and gates at the crossing, to the applause of community members in the audience. NO time frame was given. I am keeping the petition going so it gets done in a timely manner. We need to stand together to make sure it will get done.
