Hello VOCALOID fans!
The title of this petition pretty much says what goal I'm trying to reach. I've been a Kagamine Rin/Len fan for many years now. I can't describe how much I love them. Their voices, their design, and most importantly, the songs producers created with them - they have always been my favorite VOCALOIDs. If you have a personal favorite, you probably know what I'm talking about.

Now, everyone knows that Hatsune Miku is currently the most popular VOCALOID. Some people even think she was the first - though it's not true. (If you didn't know, MEIKO and KAITO were released before her!) I'm personally not a big fan of Miku but I've always let people enjoy what they want to enjoy, since everyone has their own preferences. But after a time, Miku's popularity started to bother me a lot. I'll give you some examples to make you understand what I mean. You see, Crypton involves Miku in many different events and collaborations. And yes, only her. That's also why practically everything contains her name. (I've once seen a commercial with Miku in it and the moderator seriously said that Miku is the only digital diva.) There's Snow Miku, Racing Miku, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, and of course the Miku Expo. Crypton doesn't seem to care about the other VOCALOIDs they've created, which is sad. They all have the same potential like Miku. If they just promoted them like they promote Miku, they would be just as popular as her, and in that case they would even profit from that. Various characters are more appealing than only one. Now let's think of the fans. Crypton obviously thinks that everyone is a Miku fan. But what about the people who just want to see their favorite VOCALOID that is not Miku? Let's take the Kagamines as an example here. There are so many Kagamine fans who just want to see Rin & Len to actually achieve something, like Miku does. They can. Having a huge fanbase they are the second most popular VOCALOIDs after all. The only problem is Crypton. They only want to see Miku as the idol and their other VOCALOIDs as her little decoration. The non-Miku fans don't matter. Let's think about the producers. They're basically forced to use Miku to gain fame, since Miku gets the most songs in concerts and games. So if producers decide to make a song with Miku, they'll have a much higher chance to have their song featured in a concert. How unfair is that? (Miku usually gets around 20 or even 25 songs, while the Kagamines only get one or two - and always the same ones over and over again. It's really disappointing.) But the worst thing is, in albums they just remove the songs their other VOCALOIDs performed on concerts - so the whole album contains only Miku songs in the end. There's absolutely no reason to do that. It's almost like they don't even want people to notice that there's so much more than just Miku.

After ranting a bit, let me come to my point. I know petitions often don't work. I know it costs a lot of money to organize a whole new Expo. But I don't know what else to do to make Crypton see that there are people who love the Kagamines and want them to get the attention they deserve. That's why I'm asking you to sign this petition. Even if you're not a Kagamine fan, signing this is free and you will help us a lot. The Kagamines don't depend on Miku. They are idols as well. We want a Kagamine Expo, so please help!
