Petition updateSave South Norwood LibraryA Big, Heartfelt Thank You!
Friends of South Norwood Library
Apr 7, 2021

We are very grateful to have so many wonderful people showing their support for South Norwood Library in South London/Croydon!

5,457 people have signed our petition to save our library so far - the library with its professional librarians is one of, if not the most important space for our community.

From free educational resources, benefitting the educational journey of our children, providing free guidance and support to everyone, free internet, hosting homework clubs or toddle groups, being a safe space for members of the community to meet or just spend quiet time in, the list is endless...

Not to forget about the wonderful architecture of this brutalist South London building, which has been designed and built by Croydon Borough architect Hugh Lea in the late '60s.

Again, we are very grateful to each one of you who has signed and shared our petition - it would be great if we could all spend a few minutes of our time again to share the petition once more to hopefully reach more likeminded people who can support us in our fight to save South Norwood Library.

With best wishes from all the Friends of South Norwood Library.
