On RT28 Middleboro, the 4 way by hannafords  and the 2 elementary schools, was a serious accident. Dylan Levesque, 15 year old boy was hit by a driving vehicle due to no lights, no crossing lights, no warning that someone may be crossing. On a main traveling route, with a shopping center and the elementary school across the street, then our highschool and YMCA a bit further up. Therefore, there are always kids, walking, riding bikes, families walking to and from the grocery store/shopping center. We NEED something so these people that aren’t in cars can be SAFE from car’s flying by. This 15 year old boy is now in the ICU fighting for his life, when possibly, a warning he was crossing could have prevented this tragedy. How many people have to get hurt? How many accidents have to happen for this to push this change our town so badly needs. The whole town is now praying for this boy to be ok, to maybe be able to ride his bicycle again. I am hoping to get every one of us to sign this petition, to be presented in hopes we achieve this goal. Please take a moment to pray for this teen and sign for the   safety of our children and community.
