As a side note, it will be interesting to see how the Queensland election plays out, and what that will mean for our campaign.

We worked with a few other organisations to understand each party's position, and try to obtain election commitments on shark nets. We will share those full responses soon, but in short, neither major party has made a major or meaningful commitment regarding the modernisation of the shark "control" program (read: culling program).
