We welcome the new New South Wales (NSW) cabinet ministers for Fisheries and Environment and have updated the decision-makers on this petition to reflect these new appointments. 

On that note, here's a flashback to a 2016 ABC story, to show that the NSW Government has known their shark net program is not legal for quite some time, and that they have acknowledged this publicly.

6 years on, and with some new Ministers, will we finally see the program adapt to science, public opinion and most importantly, the law?
