Battle has been won, but war has only began
As you know our case has been closed. which we all knew would happen eventually because we knew our mother in law and her friends made these reports falsely and maliciously for retaliation and were still searching for our justice for that. We are beyond grateful to those who worked our case for investigating thoroughly because if my kids WEREN'T in my custody, i would hope that if I made any accusations of these types about my childrens safety that they would investigate them as heavily as they did for the false accusations. Were grateful that we were heard and not treated like perpetrators after providing evidence that these reports were made out of spite, and we are understanding of the fact that they had no choice but to investigate our family because of the severity of the accusations. I did try to prevent them from forcing my kids to go thru those invasive exams, not to be uncooperative, but to prevent the inevitable trauma that would come to follow it.... However, we spoke with our attorney and learned that if we denied consent for the exams, cps could issue an emergency custody order for my children and authorize the exam for themselves. So as much as i hate to say it - it simply wasnt worth the risk. We have many of years worth of therapy for us as parents, for my children and for us as a whole family ahead of us to cope with the trauma for all this.
In conclusion, that is why im asking that you all continue to share this petition, send it to those who can relate, send it to important people that you may know in North Carolina and all across the world! Because although our case is closed, the physical and emotional distress is still there. And that is unfortunately one of the things that money can NOT buy.... a clean slate and no memory of what happened. So i want to be able to tell my children one day that what they went through was horrible, and they were completely innocent and undeserving of the events that took place. But i also want to be able to tell them that Mommy and Daddy did EVERYTHING in their power to stop it before it happened and even though they couldnt, they fought to the bitterend to get them the justice they so much deserved.
Will you please help us do that by contacting our decision makers on this matter, signing and sharing with others? My husband and I will appreciate it more than words could possibly begin to explain and our precious kids will be forever grateful as well. 🙏🏼 Thank you all for helping us this far, we wouldnt have been able to do it without you! & thank you to everyone who consistently kept up with any and all updates on my babies and cared enough to help us make a difference in this world. 🥰
