It’s been a long while since we last posted an update. Please don’t think we’ve given up… unfortunately, due to the parliamentary cabinet changes, on two occasions, we are back at the bottom of the list again.
Nothing will stop us… we will continue to fight for change… Justice for our Lillie.

The reason for our update is to share some good news….

Lillie always wanted to open her own tea room’s and during the past year or so, we have been working with Merton Council in the hope of refurbishing an old waiting room in the grounds of Garth Road cemetery, where our Lillie has har forever bed.
Our hearts are heavy that Lil will not be here to see her dream come true but we are happy to share the news that, Lillie’s in the garden, in her memory, will be opening at the end of June (fingers crossed).

Work is well underway and coming along nicely so we felt it was the right time to let everyone know.

Lillie’s in the garden will be a place for all, especially those grieving that need a friendly face and comfort.

In time, our aim is to open a charity called, Eyes Wet Now, with the hope of offering financial support to those who have lost and struggling financially. We are a long way from that right now however, Lillie’s tea room will be the start.

If you are local, or not, and would like to join us for the opening… keep your eyes out for our next update.

We still continue to get the most amazing messages and unfortunately, very sad ones too where other families have found themselves in the same or similar position, losing a loved one in the most tragic circumstances.
Thank you all for your continued support, it means so much to us all.

Take care, and tell the people you love… I love you. Don’t take life for granted. xx
