Grant Kirkhope is a prolific composer responsible for creating many iconic soundtracks throughout video game history. He has been attached to Killer Instinct, GoldenEye, Banjo-Kazooie, Star Fox, Perfect Dark, Conker, Civilization, A Hat in Time, Mario + Rabbids, and many more. Notably, he composed the "DK Rap", an intro theme song from Donkey Kong 64. Sadly, the recent Super Mario Bros. Movie by Illumination and Nintendo failed to credit the composer, despite the track being referenced in the film.

We the undersigned believe that all artists should be properly credited for their work. For whatever reason, Illumination and Nintendo failed to properly credit Mr. Kirkhope. It's easy to see how this could be personally depressing and disappointing to an original creator, but it is also a disappointment to the fans.

We need your signatures to help fight for credits for artists like Mr. Kirkhope. Illumination and Nintendo need to see a wave of fan pressure on this. We want credit for the original composer of the DK Rap, if not in theatrical releases than in future releases.
