Create and release Cal Brunker's PAW Patrol: The Movie

The Issue

Cal Brunker's PAW Patrol: The Movie is the director's cut of PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021), focusing on Ryder and the pups saving Adventure City from Mayor Humdinger and the Duke of Flappington.

While the storyline of the theatrical cut remains the same, new scenes are included to expand and deepen the characterizations of major characters, including all the main pups, Everest, Tracker, Sweetie, Delores, Ryder, Mayor Humdinger, and most notably, Chase, who would be raised by Rottweiler siblings named Artemis (aka Artie) and Apollo and their mother, Esadowa. Each pup would have their parents introduced along with expanded families for the human characters, including Ryder and the Princess of Barkingburg. All unused storyboards from the theatrical release, including Chase's nightmare, would be restored in animation.

The director's cut, also referred to as the "Brunker Cut", would be a great addition to the lineup of PAW Patrol films, giving us a deeper understanding of the pups loved by all. The show's fans are always looking for more about the characters they love. Director Cal Brunker, writer Bob Barlen, comedian Jim Gaffigan, PAW Patrol creator Keith Chapman, and the creative crew at Spin Master would be brought in to release the project on Paramount+, with co-production by Nickelodeon Movies, Columbia Pictures, and Spin Master Entertainment.

Since the start of the #ReleaseTheBrunkerCut movement, many PAW Patrol cast members have expressed interest in the release of a director's cut, including Caomihe Judd (the Princess of Barkingburg), Kim Roberts (Mayor Goodway), Mikayla SwamiNathan (Lily in "Rubble & Crew"), Ron Pardo (Mayor Humdinger and Cap'n Turbot), and Anya Cooke (Sweetie), as well as the PAW Patrol movie's composer, Heitor Pereira. This makes the possibility of releasing the PAW Patrol movie's Brunker Cut more likely.
