Firstly let me thank you all for your support.

It is very greatly appreciated.

Also may I ask that you PLEASE PLEASE sign the petition " Create an independent body to investigate complaints against NHS staff and bodies" on the Government site found on the link https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/643062 We need the Government to act and signing the petition on their site as well as the change.org web site, this will make a huge difference.

I have received a number of calls and emails asking for help and for justice for famiies that have, and in many case still are, suffering . I want ALL to know that we will get there. I have great faith but we need the publics support. Getting both petitions signed with over 100,000 signatures on each one is of paramount importance so please do what you can to make this happen.

I have copied below an email that I sent, and also arranged to have hand delivered to Mr Stephen Barclay MP, The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. I am posting this as as I beleive you have a right to see it and it endorses our next step.

To,

The RT Honourable Stephen Barclay MP,

Secretary of State for Health and Social Care,

Dear Mr Barclay,

I need the governments help. Please help me.

Today I have a TV interview broadcast on London Live between 6.00pm and 7.00pm ( On Sky channel 117). I have, in the space of 5 weeks, had a further 5 TV Broadcasts, 6 online newspaper articles published and 3 newspaper articles written. They include the BBC, ITV, Talk TV, The Guardian, The Express and others and can be found on the media coverage link on  our website Patients Lives Matter https://patientslivesmatter.co.uk/media-coverage

The interview follows the passing of my Son, Balram, who was sadly taken away from us on 9th August 2023. He tragically died before his time in a huge amount of pain and discomfort due to horrifying failures in care and treatment afforded to him by the NHS staff and Hospital at St Thomas’s Hospital, London who’s care he was under.

The coroner is investigating Balram’s Death.
The police are investigating Balram’s Death.
The complaints authority is investigating Balram’s Death..
CQC is investigating Balram’s Death.
The GMC is investigating doctors failure resulting in Balram’s Death.

A CHANGE is needed NOW not INVESTIGATIONS

Following Balram’s passing I formed The Foundation Patients Lives Matter in his honour on 9th September 2023. https://lnkd.in/eq-UyGjX . Also at about the same time 2 online petitions were creating entitled:  “Create an independent body to investigate complaints against NHS staff and bodies”

We have had over 40,000 supporters sign the Petition on change.org in under 5 weeks.

Please help me and over 40,000 of the British public to firstly Create an independent body to investigate complaints against NHS staff and bodies and secondly set up a system whereby when a failure does occur in the hospital it is resolved there and then and not retrospectively after the event so as to speak. This would encompass Martha’s Rule which requests a second medical opinion when asked (which you have no doubt heard about).

I cannot bring Balram back but I, with your help, and as endorsed by over 40,000 supporters can try and help ensure fewer people and their families unnecessary suffer like mine did and still are and hopefully fewer lose their lives.

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea and I keenly look forward to hearing from you.

Keep safe and Loving Regards,
