During my time in the military, I was part of the anthrax vaccine program, a decision in which I had little say. This experience taught me the invaluable lesson of how fundamental the right to control one's own body is, yet how easily it can be taken away.

The time has come to address this issue head-on. This amendment would ensure that each person has the unfettered right to make decisions about their own body without external interventions unless there is explicit, informed, and acknowledged consent given.

The amendment would stand as a monumental step towards advancing personal freedoms and would further protect individual rights from governmental, institutional, or personal infringement. It is not just a legal change, but also a commitment to uphold the dignity and respect of every human being.
