Baton Rouge needs YOUR VOICE.  Now is the time to attend and share your ideas for City Park. BREC will be hosting two community workshops next month to solicit input on the organization’s Imagine Your Parks 3: Parks with Purpose master plan. 

The new master plan is expected to guide the organization’s priorities for the next 10 years and focus heavily on equity. 

The community workshops will be held at 5:30 PM on Nov. 7 Greenwood Community Park’s Waterfront building (13350 LA-19, Baker, LA)  and Nov. 8 at the BREC Administrative Building at Milton J. Womack Park (6201 Florida Blvd.) RSVP BELOW.

At the workshops, BREC will ask participants to share and provide feedback on emerging priority needs for BREC’s parks, greenways, programs and facilities. Participants will also be invited to share what equity means to them.
