Questions for ex-pats from Baton Rouge about City Park (and parks in your city)

Did you grow up in Baton Rouge and move away?  Did you attend LSU or Southern and relocate after graduation?   We want to know what you remember about City Park and how it compares to the "central park" in your current city?  What do you enjoy now you wish Baton Rouge had available in City Park on the lakes?  And what do you think is necessary now to make it happen?
