I’ve read every comment that’s come in. So many of you are calling for better collaboration, better resources, and a humane response system that doesn’t leave another stranded animal suffering for days. I hear you. I agree with you.

And I want you to know this is not just a petition for me.

I’m committed to taking this further.

Over the next few days, I’ll be reaching out to the appropriate agencies, marine networks, and decision makers to start pushing for the rapid-response system Oregon desperately needs. The momentum behind this is powerful already, and it is making an impact.
