BBC Panorama - Forgotten Heroes of the Covid Frontline 8pm Tonight!

The day has come! Tonight at 8pm (regional variations may apply) on BBC1, Panorama focuses on Forgotten Heroes of the Covid Frontline.

Today, please remind everyone you know (including your union) about the broadcast and encourage them to watch too. Please help us cover social media, letting people know about the programme and also to tell your own stories.

Tonight is a really important moment for Keyworkers with Long Covid, as this is major media broadcasting about the impact this condition has had on us. I think a lot of us see the irony of being asked by the Chancellor to go back to work when we cannot. Certainly not, when there’s little support or suitable positions or we are expected to keep up with everyone else. We were affected by the biggest mass disabling incident since the First World War, not deliberately “economically inactive”.
