Human Rights Act
Last week, Theresa May indicated she's considering repealing, or at least rewriting, the Human Rights Act. This would remove some of the illegality of No Deal as technically speaking Human Rights Law would not be violated by it.
This news came about very soon after I amended the recipients of this petition to include Theresa May and a hundred or so signatures had been added within hours. This may be purely coincidental - I can't know.
We would still have Civil Law, which allows a victim of suffering or personal loss to pursue action against another person who has a duty of care to prevent such suffering. Civil Law claims are easier to win.
The UK government would also likely still be found guilty in front of the court of United Nations.
Labour's No Deal & Second Referendum Amendment
With Jeremy Corbyn's support, The Labour Party has today tabled an amendment before parliament that No Deal be removed from the options and for a referendum between retaining EU membership and some form of Withdrawal Agreement that they are on to add protections jobs.
Please continue sharing this petition on your social media accounts and anywhere else you can.
Many thanks,
Ben
