update for the last Preliminary hearing

A brief update on the preliminary hearing that was held on Monday 26th November 2018.
1. The CQC will be made to do a full investigation which may involve prosecutions.
2. They initially declined any invitation to be part of my sisters hearing. Its been decided by the coronor they will be made to take responsibility and must attend future hearings including the inquest.
3. We have been told we cannot ask for any kind of expert advice ourselves & must put a request in writing our request to the coronor for any kind of expert investigation and we must not discuss case details with anyone. No decision has been made yet as she seemed happy enough with the biased fire report but as a family we do not feel is unbiased as they are themselves under investigation (as with Grenfell there are overlaps & similarities) we do not feel they can be their own critical judge.
4. Any Pending prosecutions will mean our inquest will be delayed but we will be getting a step closer to justice. This is a tiny step forward but this could give us some kind of justice served and accountability that's needed to prevent future abuse neglect & deaths of our loved ones.
5.Many more missing documents, files, reports and cctv evidence were Identified as not disclosed to our coronor but still yet to be presented by 1)Fire 2)nhs trust 3) the police , as they have been withholding evidence to date so a deadline of 1 month has now been given, these are still to be viewed by everyone including our solicitors & the coroner herself.
6. A site visit by a jury will not be permitted because it could be unsettling for patients.
7. Our next preliminary hearing will be in March 2019.
Update since writing, due to non disclosure of all of the above our March hearing was rescheduled so is now being held May 15th. 2pm at Reading town hall. Everyone is welcome to come meet outside in a show of support at 1pm. We want to put an end to all these cover ups. If you have a story please come and stand with us as we will have 2 amazing solicitors you can talk to & show them its not acceptable to treat service users & their families like this by standing by our side.
Thanks to everyone who's supporting us behind the scenes and our amazing solicitors who are brave enough to take this case on, we couldn't have got this far without them. #justiceforsarahjanewilliams
