Firstly many thanks to all who have supported me and my family through an ordeal no mother should have to go though..we have a 20 page written report with a result from the complaints about the horrendous abuse my sister recieved in prospect park hospital in Reading last July. Please note This is for the complaint we put in August 2015 the inquest into her death is still to follow. As a general summary The Independent inquiry Rule that The NHS -Prospect Park have been found guilty of abuse on many levels, from unesesary violence, abuse of restraint, record keeping, breaking their own rules and regulations..there are too many to mention all together. This has been ruled by an independent inquiry that failings are on every level imaginable presented to us in a 20 page document today. So far to date NO criminal action is taking place as of yet. So yes there was abuse by named individuals from nurses and doctors alike theyre all named, from the low levels to the higher levels at the top, they have also showed incompetence yet the abusers are still there and still working with vulnerable people. My hope is that with enough support from this petition it will be presented to safeguarding and will stop these individuals from abusing. So WHY are they still working with vulnerable patients?.why have no criminal procedings taken place? My sister is no longer with us but she suffered at the hands of these powerful people who were suposed to care for & protect her instead abused there position of power. I will not accept that they are sent just to do a simple manual handling course as proposed. I want justice and will fight for it. The following is not for the faint hearted ..those of you know My family know that in December 2 weeks before christmas sister was left in to die in a fire at the hospital and it is obviouse to me no attempt to rescue her whilst asleep in bed the fire took hold so severly. How can this be in a hospital bed with aparently fire resistent furnishings?. These questions are still to be answered at the inquest which is to follow we hope soon. We cannot move on with our lives until we have answers and at the very least justice of those held accountable for their individual actions.
