Our family suffered the unbearable this week with our 12 year old niece suffering cardiac arrest. If it wasn’t for the quick thinking of both her parents and sister this story wouldn’t have ended so well. The hospital has said the cpr given to her saved her life. 
This could have been a heartbreaking tragedy if she was out with friends rather than at home. Most children/young adults wouldn’t even know what to do in this situation which is why we all feel that cpr training should be part of the school curriculum.
