This is HUGE news.
Gary Allen, the attorney helping our group, Citizens Against Linscott Interstate Asphalt Plant, has taken the case to sue the Linscotts for stealing land adjacent to the gravel pit. This isn't the first time Linscott have been caught and said for taking neighbors property, but we do hope this is the last! Surveys have proven the loss and we hope this will keep the Linscotts from moving forward in the future.
Tomorrow, on January 7th, at 5:30pm, at the Bonner County building will be the hearing for the Mining Ordinance.
Lets stand up against the Linscotts and this mining ordinance!
There will be another hearing right before the Mining Ordinance hearing so be prepared to sit and listen for a while whether you come or ZOOM or call in.
If you decide to zoom meeting it, you may need to download the app on your computer but you can easily call in and listen.
Click on this link to get to the hearing over your phone by listening or by zoom.

Please take a peek at the Panhandle Health and DEQ comments for tomorrows hearing if interested, they DID NOT add this to the staff report NOR did they add the name of everyone opposing the ordinance as they usually do. ( I wonder why??)
