Please write your letter to ask for the Bonner County Planning and Zoning to keep the asphalt plants out of rural, ag and forest lands and keep them in industrial zones - where they have been for over 50 years. 

Also it's important that gravel pits continue to be under the grandfathered land laws regarding growth and expansion and should not be able to grow beyond their limits because they are natural resources. 

Also if you want to keep rock crushing under control in your area, then you may want to let them know you want it to only continue with a conditional use permit. 

It also doesn't seem right to have a Linscott on the planning commission  when they own the largest gravel pit in Bonner County.
