Hello everyone. The first meeting has been concluded. Thank you all for you support! Since the meeting the signatures have gained even more! Don't forget to make sure everyone in your household is signing and that your neighbors have signed.
This evenings meeting will cover the larger of the two districts being proposed. I have reached out to Adam with the Warren County Record since Mr. Vincet liked to suggest that it was his fault for not asking him questions to get out to the public. Mr. Vincet suggested he had several things he would like to review with the public but since Adam did not ask he did not share.
The company like to use the way they worded things to seem like they were answering questions when really, they were not. They did not even approach the question about giving the homeowners some kind of insurance.
When responding to the question about wildlife, one made the comment {deer will find a way, they always find a way}, in reference to the fence they will be placing all around the parameters of this. Keep in mind that "way" they find may be over a fence they cannot scale and have now injured themself and stuck.
The glare that can, and will, be caused was said there will be, although when you do a very quick search it show that is not the case, there is glare cause and when the panels are out of line that glare can be even worse.
They were asked if specific studies done and they have not been completed, but would not address that concern.
Two of the commissioners are not taking seat next term in about a month, but are voting on this. Sounds like they are trying to wash their hands, so next seats can say, well we did not vote this in.
They stated they will vote and decide on this on 12/22 at 1pm.
Meeting number two is tonight! Please come!!
The Dec. 17 hearing focuses on the Highway A/Highway W solar district. It will take place 6 p.m. at the Warrenton High School Commons.
