As residents of South Salt Lake City, UT, our collective experience with Councilman Sanchez has been deeply troubling. His behavior in office is not only unfitting of his position, but also harmful to the community he was elected to serve. Councilman Sanchez's pattern of behavior undermines the integrity of our local government.

Councilman Sanchez has created an environment where people are afraid to voice their concerns or participate in local governance. He uses his office to demean and harass citizens, employees, public servants and elected officials alike.

His constant attention-seeking, taunting of public officials at all levels of government as well as attacking local businesses is a near full-time occupation for the Councilman. He behaves unethically, and will not conform to the Code of Conduct our elected officials are held to. He is unable and unfit to represent South Salt Lake City residents. 

It's important for public officials like Councilman Sanchez to actively contribute towards the betterment of our community. However, instead of focusing on improving South Salt Lake City's infrastructure or addressing pressing issues such as affordable housing or setting City budgets, he spends his time causing harm through his inappropriate conduct. 

We cannot allow this kind of behavior from our elected officials. It's time he be held accountable for his actions. We call on all residents who believe in a respectful and productive city council to join us in demanding that Councilman Sanchez be removed from office immediately due to his unfit conduct.
