The nature reserve on Beddington Farmlands promised alongside the incinerator was due to be delivered by 31 December 2023. This deadline has passed.
The land is now owned by Valencia Waste Management and it has published new plans for the nature reserve. These can be viewed here and the consultation period has been extended to noon on 19th January

We are unhappy with many of the proposals with no guarantees that they will be better for wildlife and only limited public access.
We have also been succesful in getting Sutton Council to start enforcement action against the failure to deliver the original plans.
