Due to the violence we have experienced this night in our own hometown of Glasgow I personally feel that allowing the Orange Order to march in our streets despite Glasgow being a Yes voting town could only be chaotic. However it is not only the Order that needs to be removed. We are in dire need of a ban on all sectarian marches across Glasgow. I believe that these can only cause further disruption with the tension it will bring and the threat of further violence that could occur. This is for the safety of the people of Glasgow who are now afraid to walk the streets out of fear of being attacked for their political beliefs and I live with the hope that if Glasgow can secure this, then other cities will follow in our footsteps.
