My name is Jonathan and I’ve been helping running the jumps in Montreal Park behind Riverhead infants school. Recently they have threatened to flatten the jumps there and the ones along the road at another set of woodlands. These jumps have been there 20 years almost and it would be a shame to see them go. Every weekend lots of parents and young kids go along to learn how to ride a bike and have some fun in the outdoors.

Additionally our sport dirt jumping has suffered lots of spots in 2020. In January 2020 we lost PORC one of the best spots in the south. If we loose Riverhead we have lost our final place to ride dirt jump bikes. We are all training athletes and need somewhere to get ready for competition.

Hopefully with this petition we can save our trails spot and get the security that we’ve been craving these last few years. Any help is much appreciated.
