“Secondary Loop Pollution” a new term to describe another Plane Tree hazard

“The Secondary Pollution Loop” explained below.

The Trap: During cooler or damp periods, the dense coating of microscopic, stiff, spiky hairs (trichomes) on the leaves, along with the fibers from the shattering fruit clusters (achenes), act as physical traps for urban grime, diesel exhaust, and heavy metals. •> National Institutes... +2
The Baking Phase: When a heatwave strikes and the air dries out, the moisture that kept these particles bound to the tree evaporates.
The Resuspension: Wind, traffic turbulence, or even basic urban maintenance causes these trichomes and achene fibers to snap off. Because they are completely dried out, they form swirling clouds of highly irritating "plane dust" at pedestrian level. They don't just return trapped pollution to the air; they act as a vehicle for it, delivering toxic particulates directly into human lungs.
