The fight is not over! 

Today the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs of the European Parliament published a draft opinion on the next Erasmus Programme. In this document, the rapporteur MEP Emilian Pavel called the EP to triple the budget for the next Erasmus programme! 
The European Parliament had already suggested to triple the budget in March and keeps on being on the side of European learners throughout the continent! 

Still not quite in line with our ambitions, but this is a great step forward from the initial proposal of the European Commission, to "only" double the budget.
