Ask council about why they have not investigated whether fixing bad practices, better planning etc would mean that a special rate variation for a supposed shortfall in depreciation funding is not needed, because they would save so much money. Ask members of the Local representative Committee, (former councillors, who will probably be standing for election in September) why the minutes of the meetings they had don't show anyone objecting to the process of ramming a SRV through.
