the local press have taken an interest in this on line petition. At 230 supporters they believe that this is a real community issue that needs talking about, at last. Many more people ( close to four times the number who have actually registered) have actually tried to go through the process of signing this petition and been unsuccessful for one reason or another technically. This means that there are at least a 1,000 people out there who do not want the council applying for a SRV. On councils facebook page the council have advised in a comment to a visitor post that the administrator will see all submissions from this on line petition.
