Hello everyone! I just wanted to say a quick thank to those who have signed this petiton. I created it late last night. This morning there were about 15 signatures, now there are almost 260. Sharing this petition has been the biggest help to get Costco's attention. In the coming days I will be reaching out to local papers, news and radio stations in Columbus to increase our exposure. If you have joined the "Bring Costco to Columbus, Georgia" Facebook group you saw that The Chattahoochee Voice wrote an article about the petition. It was very thorough and very well written. All of you signing and sharing this, combined with increased media coverage can prove to be a VERY. POWERFUL. WEAPON. It will definitely help to send a clear message to Costco to consider us. Quite honestly, at this point, signing, sharing, and media exposure will be the VERY BEST ways for us to get our point across. So tag someone in your posts who you think would also like to sign.
