The abuse of power that was created by Amy Weirich, the Attorney General, ADA Associate Christopher Scruggs and Judge Robert "Bobby" Carter in Division 3 court in Shelby County assisted in helping Detective Mark Gia bring an illegal conviction against Jason White and Kristina Cole. Detective Mark Gia with Bartlett Police Dept,  received a UPS package from Detective Adam Collins from California that contained a FedEx package with a pound of methamphetamine . The FedEx package was address to Bailey Green at address 2552 Linwood. Detective Mark Gia lied to obtain an illegal search warrant by saying it was addressed to 2552 Jinwood, Kristina Cole's resident. He placed the package on her front door , knocked on the door and walked away. Kristina placed the package inside the door unopened.

Detective Gia and 6 other detectives from the Bartlett Police Department executed a search warrant. Once inside the home Detective Mark Gia said Ms. Cole was tracking the package and Ms. Cole sent 3 text messages in reference to the package being delivered. Remind you that this package came through UPS  and not FedEx. No computer was taken from her residence and Ms. Cole's arrest ticket shows she was arrested at 1530 pm (3:30 pm) reflecting her arrest ticket. The first text message that Ms. Cole allegedly sent was not sent until 1538 pm (3:38 pm) and 1539 and third at 1627 which all reflect after Ms. Cole was arrested.

Detective Mark Gia was forced to admit he sent the 3rd text message at 1627. It is clear by her arrest ticket that all 3 text messages were  sent by Detective Mark Gia, out of 7 officers that executed the search warrant only Detective Mark Gia testified at the trial. He is no longer a police officer with the Bartlett Police Dept yet an employee at FedEx.  He also avoided being subpoenaed for Jason's White post conviction hearing. If it wasn't for Judge Robert "Bobby" Carter, Jr. who inappropriately held a conversation with ADA  Christopher Scruggs through ex parte communication to lay out his platform to further the investigation against Jason White and Kristina Cole. Judge Carter allowed unreliable evidence to be used to convict innocent people in his court room.

Jason White , given 60 years will die in prison without the support of this petition. Kristina Cole given 13.5 years was taken away from her kids. 

We need the support to encourage the elected DA, Steve Mulroy to participate in a thorough investigation of corruption and conspiracy engaged in multiple individuals in effort to circumvent Jason and Kristina's freedom.
