As we've shown over recent months, the land at United Downs Raceway isn't just used solely for racing.

Across the year, the community groups are many and varied; from youngsters on electric bikes, to drivers having HGV training.

Our last weekend saw the latest group use the site. A large team from St John Ambulance, visited the raceway with a number of vehicles, to gain some off road training.

The land utilised at St Day, provides valuable experience for the medical staff in a controlled environment.

Sadly, as things stand, the group are set to lose a valuable resource in their training programme.

Let's hope we can welcome them back in the future.

Meanwhile, we are still looking for signatures on our online petition, as we continue to fight the closure plans.
