Over 3,000 people now calling on the Chief of planning to resign!

Two interesting letters this week: "Even if you feel it's too late, this petition is worth signing! For every cancelled appointment at the struggling Treliske; for every surfer who's swam in excrement because our sewage system cannot cope; for every fox, stoat, hedgehog, or badger that's mowed down because of the number of vehicles on our roads or turfed out of their homes for house building to line the pockets of greedy politicians and developers..." Letter 2: "Dear Mr Mason, As the Chief of PLANNING for Cornwall - including Truro & Falmouth - I'd like to know what you have planned for the Duchy, in terms of additional hospital beds, doctors, nurses, paramedics, carers, ambulance drivers, porters, surgeries, etc... for the period 2017-2030, to go alongside your other plans for 52,500 executive homes, carefully crafted out with the developers for the same period, last year? As our very senior civil servant, paid for by the Cornish public, please provide more detail for your masterplan to cover the additional massive growth in population planned in the next 13 years (and beyond, or will the developers just stop building?!!). You do have a plan, right??? I'm intrigued to hear it, as all the medical professionals I've spoken to, describe the current daily black alerts at Treliske, as a human catastrophe RIGHT NOW! I know you've made massive errors in the past, whether at Restormel Council or at CC, especially with the disastrous failures at appeals, where you have been both absent and have failed to provide your stand-ins with the information necessary to properly fight ludicrous profit-driven flood & congestion-prone schemes, or when pushing for other ill-advised and highly speculative schemes such as (West) Langarth, but on the (other) important matter of the health of ALL residents in Cornwall (550,000 people?), but I presume you have a fail-proof health-provision plan; don't you? I look forward to your feedback at your very earliest opportunity."
