More Council Taxes Wasted by Council Planners to Support Another Cornish White Elephant

An expensive 'henchman' (salary circa £145k) appears to have been recruited as an enforcer for the chief planner Phil Mason.
Cornwall council hires a pensioner from Bristol to impose Langarth on the ‘backward’ Cornish.
A developer walks away from a costly and potentially disastrous development, so in their wisdom, Cornwall planners decide to spend millions on a new town between Threemilestone and Chiverton Cross, sarcastically christened ''St Agnes East'' by one furious Cornwall Councillor at a recent cabinet meeting.
The two billion £££ debt and pension black hole at Cornwall Council is set to become blacker still... watch those council tax bills rise, and rise fast...
The information available to the public suggests, with particular regard to the West Langarth project, that a certain John Betty (a septuagenarian former consultant whose fee was rumoured to be very slightly under £1000/day) has now been retained by Cornwall Council on a salary of circa £145k, as Strategic Director for Economic Growth and Development, which has been further suggested is more specifically to assist Chief Planning Officer Phil Mason enforce the potentially disastrous West Langarth development on the people of Cornwall.

He seems a lovely chap, but maybe just a bit misguided. Why not give him your opinions on Inox-style casino planning?!
