Are Cornish Farms Greenfield or Brownfield sites?

A question asked of Chief Planner, Mr Mason, in July 2015, after both Tolgarrick & Langarth Farms (and others) were incorrectly shown as brownfield sites on the Plan. Mr Mason said the following by email (regenerationplanningpost@cornwall.gov.uk): “I refer to your query relating to Tolgarrick Farm. It appears that the Truro and Threemilestone Neighbourhood Plan Group incorrectly identified greenfield sites (including Langarth and Tolgarrick Farm) on their published plan as brownfield. This is an administrative error in their plan and not a mistake by Cornwall Council.” He then went on to insist this made no difference to the (Persimmon) appeal result for Tolgarrick Farm, which had been turned down for development eight years previously due to traffic/air quality and flooding concerns. Things at Arch Hill must've improved and Mr Mason obviously was not on hand to defend that appeal, but left it to the County Solicitor, who it is alleged looked a complete fool for lack of files and documents!! Who’s responsible??? And why isn't Mason defending his community against unsuitable and predatory development?!!
